Finger joint laminated board is a type of longboard made from combining multiple small wood planks. The small planks are glued together with special kind of glues, then laminated to create one solid board. 
 
FJLB Products are more stable and steady in performance and the strength of finger jointed and laminated wood is stronger than the conventional dimensional lumber. This is due to the way that the product is engineered. Laminated FJB allows the wood layers to strengthen one another.

FJLB is used for both structural and non-structural products offering high stability reducing the chances of warping and twisting & can be up to 2 times stronger than solid wood of similar shape and size. 
 
There is no negative impact on structural integrity or durability. Finger joints are just as strong as the longer strips of wood. And in terms of joints, finger joints are as strong as wood & in some cases stronger.
 
Finger-jointed lumber and timber can be fabricated to any size & can match or better that of natural clear cut wood. A finger joint is one configuration used to join wood.
