Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a type of engineered wood similar to particle board, formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations. OSB is a material with favourable mechanical properties that make it particularly suitable for load-bearing applications in construction. 
Hardwood Phenolic OSB3 is normally used for outdoors for likes of Wall Cladding, Roofing, Structural, etc. Advantages

OSB is Oriented strand board, is the upgrading of the traditional particleboard products, its mechanical properties with directionality, durability, moisture resistance, and dimensional stability than ordinary particle board. With a small expansion coefficient, no distortion, good stability, uniform material and nail holding high performance.
 
Phenol–formaldehyde (PF) resin, which is a thermosetting resin, is widely used as a binder of OSB and plywood due to its excellent durability such as water resistance and thermal stability.
